Kim founded The Compliance Company with Jasmijn in 2019. Previously, she worked for 11 years as a lawyer in Amsterdam and Brussels, for large international law firms and in her own law firm. The past 4 years, Kim was as head of Competition Compliance responsible for the compliance program of APM Terminals, a global terminal operator and part of the Maersk Group.
She has solid experience in setting up and managing compliance programs and knows what it takes to sit on “the other side of the table” and be responsible for getting and keeping a large organisation compliant. One of the main reasons for her to start The Compliance Company is her belief that a compliance program should be simple and contribute to the business instead of hindering it.
Kim has a hands-on mentality and is eager to learn about the business of her client. She has a pragmatic approach and streamlines complex processes quickly whilst keeping overview. Kim is result driven and a quick thinker who likes to guide and work together with the business.
